Most will be out by the end of this year.
Several new headphone and speaker models from Philips’ sports-focused GO line of products are scheduled to launch later this year.
A recent announcement from Philips details the range, which the company says is also on display at Pepcom Well Now! event that begins today in New York. The list starts with the S4807 Bluetooth speaker, which offers up to 12 hours of use on a single charge. The S4807 is supposed to be available to order on Amazon now, but it’s currently showing out of stock.
There’s also the Philips GO S7807 Bluetooth speaker, which will go on sale in August and offers “big sound” thanks to a 70mm woofer in a smaller, more compact frame. It can be charged while in use with a built-in power bank and can provide up to 24 hours of playtime on a full charge.
In September and October, respectively, the A7607 Bone Conduction Headphones and A7507 Hybrid Wireless ANC Headphones were released. The A7607s use a bone conduction microphone for what Philips calls crystal clear calls, even during loud activities, and feature traffic lights to help you find your way around more easily at night. And the A7507s boast “outstanding sound quality” in a lightweight, portable chassis.
Completing the lineup are the X7207 and X5206 party speakers, which Philips says will be out later this summer. We can expect the cube-shaped X7207, with wireless party link and up to 12 hours of playback, in the third quarter (July to September). The X5206, which didn’t receive a release window, can last up to 14 hours and includes mic and guitar inputs.
Pricing information for these new products has yet to be revealed, but we expect that to change once Pepcom Well Now! is complete for the year.
