How long is the New York Marathon?

The New York City Marathon is 26.2 miles long, starting at the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge on Staten Island and crossing all five New York boroughs, before finishing in Central Park.

When does the lottery open for the New York City Marathon?

This year, the lottery for places in the New York Marathon will open on Wednesday, March 9 at 12 pm ET and ends on Wednesday, March 23. The draw for these tickets will take place on Wednesday, March 30. You can participate in the lottery on the race website.

Runners who have completed the 2021 New York Virtual Marathon

If you completed the TCS New York City Virtual Marathon at a Guaranteed Entry level or Team for Kids level, and your race met the terms and conditions, you will be able to claim your non-free Guaranteed Entry during the claim period. registration (March 9 to March 23).

If you are a fast runner, you could qualify for a spot in the 2022 New York City Marathon. You must have run a race that meets qualifying time standards between November 1, 2019 and March 8, 2019. 2022.
