The swamp planet of Dagobah is where audiences first met Yoda during The Empire Strikes Back in 1980. It wasn’t until Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, though, that audiences learned why Yoda was living alone here. He traveled to Dagobah after the events of Order 66 as part of a self-imposed exile. Yoda remained on the planet for the rest of his life as far as the current Star Wars canon has revealed. But just as Obi-Wan Kenobi is changing Obi-Wan’s story to include him leaving Tattooine, perhaps there is more to Yoda’s story as well.
Yoda living on Dagobah during Obi-Wan Kenobi could still factor into the show’s story in some fashion. Since he was one of the Jedi to survive Order 66, Darth Vader made Yoda one of the top targets for the Inquisitors. The Jedi hunters play a major role in Obi-Wan Kenobi since they are hunting down Ewan McGregor’s character. Kenobi is also one of the Inquisitors’ top targets during this time, which could mean Yoda could be mentioned as another loose end from Order 66.
