Zebra Toilet Paper Roll Craft

Let’s make a craft with zebra toilet paper rolls. You can use toilet paper rolls for this or if you prefer paper towel rolls, both will work just fine.

This zebra craft is fun and frugal to make.

How to Make a Zebra Toilet Paper Roll Craft

What do you need:

  • White cardboard
  • two rolls of toilet paper
  • 5 black and 2 white chenille sticks
  • glue
  • hot glue
  • scissors
  • pencil
  • large eyes
  • black acrylic paint
  • pink acrylic paint
  • brush

Materials used

Let us begin!

step by step instructions

Body

Put glue on a roll of toilet paper and wrap it in white cardboard.

Apply a bit of glue to the end of the cardboard. Press firmly with your fingers until the glue sets.

Step 1-2-3-4

Cut off the excess paper.

Head

Take the second roll of toilet paper and cut 1/3 of it off with scissors.

This is what the roll should look like. Save the smaller part for later.

Step 7

Put some glue on the second toilet paper roll and wrap it in white cardboard.

Apply a little glue to the end of the cardboard and press down firmly with your fingers until the glue sets.

Step 8-9-10-11

Cut off the excess paper.

Neck

Cut the smaller piece to get a strip as shown in the photo. Cut the strip in half.

Put some glue and roll up the strip and press down with your fingers until the glue sets.

Step 14-15

This is how it should look.

Wrap the small piece of white cardboard and cut off the excess paper.

Apply some glue and press down with your fingers until it dries.

Stage 17-18

This is how it should look.

Take the three rolls (body, head and neck) and mark them with stripes using a pencil.

Color some of the strips black and leave the other strips white.

Language

Take the rest of the toilet paper roll and cut out a tongue. Paint it with pink acrylic color and let it dry aside.

Stage 22-23

Nose

Cut out two small circles from the white cardboard.

Place them on the zebra’s face like a nose.

Eyes

Glue the googly eyes to the face as shown in the photo.

Stick the tongue

Legs

Take a black and white chenille stick, cut it into three equal parts and twist it. Repeat this with two more sticks.

You should have four legs now.

Tail

Take a black chenille stick, fold it in half and start twisting the ends.

Leave an “O” at the end. is the tail

Apply the legs with hot glue.

Here we have the standing body. See, we made four feet by twisting the edges of the sticks.

Attach the tail with hot glue.

Glue the neck to the body.

Hot glue the head to the neck.

Mane

Take a caterpillar stick and fold it in half.

Glue the caterpillar stick starting from the end of the head towards the body as shown in the photo.

Take another chenille stick, fold it into triangles and tie it at the end of the head and on the body.

Finished!

You can give it a name if you want.
